blueWater baboon began as a pull toward something simpler — an awakening shaped by salt air, quiet mornings, Edisto roads, open water, and the feeling that life could be more than the path we were taught to follow.

Somewhere between Edisto, the horizon, the miles traveled back and forth, and the discovery of a real sailing journey, something clicked: maybe we really do have the power to change course, despite what we’ve been told.

It’s part coastal journal, part sailing dream, part family dream, and part reminder to slow down, choose your own tide, and find your horizon beyond the life you were taught to follow.

This is the story of finding direction again — building a journey, bringing family together, and moving toward the horizon one tide at a time.
